CAMERON & DOUG

Filming Cam & Doug’s wedding weekend at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe was like stepping into a storybook, one filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and a love that’s been growing since college. I had the privilege of capturing not just their wedding day, but also their welcome party the evening before, a relaxed and joyful gathering that set the perfect tone for the weekend ahead. For Cam & Doug, this was a destination wedding, and they chose Southern California intentionally, weaving in subtle nods to the natural beauty of the region.

One of the most striking elements of the day was the garden-inspired floral design, featuring vibrant poppies — a perfect tribute to the California setting and a beautiful symbol of remembrance and joy. The ceremony took place beneath a canopy of trees, creating an intimate and organic atmosphere that flowed seamlessly into a candlelit reception full of heartfelt speeches and nonstop dancing, followed by an epic afterparty. What I’ll always remember is how these two looked at each other — with a deep, lived-in kind of love that can only come from years of growing together. Their story, from college sweethearts to now, is one of true partnership and joy.
